Last updated: August 17, 2026. QuillReply is in beta; these terms will be finalized at launch.
QuillReply is a browser extension for Gmail that turns emails into reminders and tasks, watches threads you choose for replies, and drafts responses in your writing style. QuillReply never sends email on your behalf. Every draft it produces waits in Gmail for you to read, edit, and send yourself.
You are responsible for activity under your installation and for keeping your devices secure. You must be at least 16 to use QuillReply.
Do not use QuillReply to break the law, to send spam or deceptive mail, to infringe anyone's rights, to probe or disrupt our systems, or to resell the service without our written agreement. We may suspend access that threatens the service or other users.
Drafts and suggestions are generated by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete, or oddly phrased. They are proposals, not statements of fact, and you are responsible for whatever you send. Read every draft before it leaves your outbox.
Task managers you connect (Apple Reminders, Google Tasks, Obsidian, Things 3) are their own products under their own terms. Apple offers no way for a web service to write to Reminders; QuillReply works through a Shortcut that runs on your own device, which means a reminder appears only when that Shortcut runs. If your device is off or the Shortcut is disabled, the reminder waits, and queued reminders are deleted after 30 days. Treat the confirmation in the extension as "queued", not "delivered".
QuillReply is free during the beta. At launch, paid plans will be billed through Stripe with prices shown before you subscribe. We will announce beta-to-paid transition terms before charging anyone.
We aim for reliability but do not promise uninterrupted service. Gmail's interface belongs to Google and changes without notice; when it changes, some features may pause until we adapt.
Handled as described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
You can stop using QuillReply and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms.
To the fullest extent the law allows, QuillReply is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty dollars if you paid nothing.
You will defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
