QuillReply vs Right Inbox

Right Inbox is a toolbox for people who send a lot of email: sequences, mail merge, tracking, recurring sends, templates. QuillReply is a focused tool for people who are waiting on email: the reply that has not come, the answer you owe, the thread you cannot let slip. Different jobs, and honestly, some people need both kinds.

The short version

Right Inbox connects to your Google account to do its work, and much of that work happens on its servers: scheduled sends, sequences, and reminders need a service watching your mailbox to function. QuillReply requests no Gmail permission at all. It reads only the email on your screen when you click, checks for replies inside your own browser, and drafts responses in a voice it learned from emails you chose to show it.

Where Right Inbox is stronger

Outbound volume. If you run sequences, merge campaigns, recurring sends, or want open tracking, Right Inbox is built for exactly that and QuillReply deliberately is not. Those features require a service that holds and watches mail, which is the one thing QuillReply refuses to become.

Where QuillReply is different

Free during beta

Built for the waiting side of email

QuillReply is in beta ahead of its Chrome Web Store launch.
